Location
The Baglio Oneto dei Principi di San Lorenzo - Luxury Wine Resort rises on a Marsala hill, 150 m above sea level. It enjoys a panoramic position from which to admire the archipelago of Egadi and the natural reserves of Saline and Stagnone. A mix of stunning colours stimulate the imagination and the desire to discover the Western Sicily.

By car, you can reach the cities of Marsala and Trapani, the archaeological sites of Segesta and Mozia and a little further away, the fun sea cities of Mondello and San Vito Lo Capo.

Hotel
The name of the Baglio Oneto dei Principi di San Lorenzo - Wine Resort pays homage to its owners. The Oneto family has been producing wine which for generations and keeps up the reputation of the city of Marsala, well known for the homonymous wine.

The luxury hotel has been designed while maintaining the architectural identity of a baglio, which was built on 1700. The baglio is a structure with a courtyard around which the rooms overlook. The renovation has preserved the architectural identity of the structure, the use of stone, wood and wrought iron.

The nice patio has a solarium and an outdoor swimming pool is surrounded by greenery and a panoramic view.

Rooms
There are 49 accommodations. They are tastefully furnished and equipped with comfort. Alle have Dorelan mattresses in Memory Foam, heating and air conditioning, TV Full HD with satellite channels, hairdryer, bathrobes, slippers, courtesy set, kettle with coffee/tea set, turndown service, safety box, minibar and Wi-Fi internet connection. Some rooms are suitable for disabled guests. 

Beach
The sea is an integral part of the Resort’s landscape. Thanks to the shuttle service you can reach the nearest beach, equipped with several beach services, in just 8 km.

The Resort has an agreement for the beach service in two beaches, both with fine sand and crystal clear sea. Depending on the direction of the wind, the staff will recommend the most suitable, as the beaches are located in two different areas, one in the north with fresh, crystal cler water and one in the south characterized by shallow and warmer water. 

Another magical place for the people of Marsala is the Nature Reserve of the Stagnone Lagoon which, despite its name, is open sea but protected by the so called "Long Island". Here, there are no beaches, but the water is always very warm, beneficial, there are no strong currents... and it is very relaxing to enjoy the sunset there. At the "Stagnone" it is possible to swim but also windsurf, canoe, sail, pedal boat, kitesurf (in the areas just outside with dedicated hotspots).

By car, heading to Trapani and Palermo, you can enjoy the tourist sandy beaches of Mondello or tropical sea of San Vito Lo Capo, which boasts 5 Blue Sails.

It is also easy to reach the Egadi Islands. A small port, 30 minutes away from the Resort, provides many ferries around the clock to explore Europe's largest marine protected area.
At the three  islands you may explore the mountain paths and snorkelling around the breathtaking bays. You can enjoy the sea by visiting each day a different corner of paradise. It only takes 20/30 minutes by hydrofoil to reach them, or, for those who love sailing, a day trip by boat is recommended. The turquoise coves of the 3 islands will make you fall in love with this wonderful corner of Sicily. For bike lovers is preferable Favignana which is one of the most cycling islands in Europe.

Sport
Inside the Resort it is possible to use the walking-bikes free of charge and there is an outdoor fitness trail (equipment such as parallel, rings, bench for abdominals, ...). Personal trainer and massages on request and for a fee.

Nearby the hotel you can enjoy varied sport such as kitesurf, windsurf, canoe, sailing, golf and horseback riding. At the Egadi islands there are specialized center to practice diving and snorkeling.

Restaurant
The day begins with a rich breakfast, both sweet and savoury, with homemade products (bread, pastries, baked goods), BIO products and typical Sicilian products (cheese, anchovies, olives, etc..). The Resort is certified AIC (Italian Coeliac Association) and pays particular attention to the food needs of customers (please give notice at the time of booking). 

The delicious cuisine of La Calandra is the added value of your vacation. Particularly striking is the frame bar/lounge (open 24 hrs) and the outdoor restaurant, where in addition to the delights of the palate. The Chef offers typical Sicilian flavors, natural products with a pinch of innovation.

Rare and fine wines by the Baglio Oneto Winery, will accompany your dinners and tastings. During the summer you can enjoy your lunch at the "Venus Terrace" while at dinner you sit and relax in the romantic garden inside the courtyard of the ancient Baglio.

Guests of Baglio Oneto dei Principi di San Lorenzo - Luxury Wine Resort have access to a panoramic swimming pool and an equipped solarium, both located in the new patio, in a position with an exceptional view, and to an outdoor fitness area (Personal Trainer on request, for a fee). In a common room there is an internet point with newspapers and magazines; free Wi-Fi in the rooms and in the common areas.

Different conference rooms, independent from the hotel and equipped with modern technical equipment, are ideal for business meetings, press conferences, training courses, exhibitions and fairs. For your banquets, cocktails and coffee breaks are available spacious rooms and an ad hoc service for 400 guests.

In the historic cellar, where the barrels and the old work tools are, the resort organizes delicious wine and extra virgin oil tastings for its customers.

City tax is Euro 2,50 per person per overnight and it has to be paid on-site. Children/youth until 14 years are exempt.
