Location
Located in a privileged position in the city of Venice, the Ca’ di Dio is at the entrance to the Arsenale area, a design district known for its artistic and architectural routes. Its slightly remote location allows you to escape the chaos of the city, but at the same time to reach the centre in a few steps: St Mark's Square is in fact about 1 km away.
Location
The Ca' di Dio luxury hotel is the result of the restoration of a historic city palace; restoration aimed at keeping intact the austere and angular architectural aspects, lightened and in strong contrast with new elements typical of Venetian palaces. This dichotomy consciously aims to highlight the two souls of the city, between hidden alleys made of old bricks and refined and elegant noble palaces, rich in marble and decorations. All this is part of a wider project in which luxury is represented by attention to detail rather than by opulence and excess.
The restoration of the Ca' di Dio involved the use of local materials such as wood, glass, wrought iron, stone and marble, and deliberately played on neutral colours, shades of colour and transparencies. Significant investments were also made in the field of sustainability to limit environmental impact.
Rooms
Hotel Ca' di Dio has 66 rooms, including 58 suites and 8 rooms, ranging in size from 22 to 40 square metres. Some rooms overlook the inner courtyard, others the gardens, others the lagoon and other rooms have no view.
Sauna and Hammam
The sauna and hammam (steam bath) are chargeable for all guests: Steam bath for 30 minutes 25€; Sauna 30minutes 25€; Steam bath and sauna 40€.
Restaurant
The Essentia Restaurant is located in the elegant inner courtyard and is ideal for light and quick snacks. The VERO Restaurant overlooks the waterfront and is open to both customers and external guests. It has an elegant dining room and an exclusive outdoor area with views of the lagoon. The cuisine is inspired by tradition, with interesting modern influences.
Located in the inner courtyard, the Alchemia Bar welcomes guests for a high-level drink.
Services & Activities
Ca' di Dio's guests have access to a wellness area that includes a fully equipped gym and an area for personalised wellness treatments. Those wishing to relax with a good book can go to the comfortable reading room or enjoy the tranquillity of the internal courtyards.
The hotel has a second access, with direct docking from the Rio de l'Arsenal, for those wishing to tour the city by navigating the characteristic canals.
The Ca' di Dio Guest Assistant is always available for suggestions and advice on visits, excursions and little gems known only to those who live in the city.
Small pets are allowed on request (max. 15 kg). The supplement to be paid on site is € 40.00 per day and does not include dedicated food. They are allowed in the common areas, with the exception of the restaurant and bar.
