Location
In the heart of the town Taormina, in the vicinity of the Clock Tower and in the central Corso Umberto,we find the Hotel Metropole Maison d'Hôtes. It enjoys a striking panoramic view of the Bay, but the nearest beach is reachable only by car (about 10 minutes). The hotel is easily reachable from the international airport Catania – Fontanarossa, at a distance of 50 km. For those who prefer to travel by train, the railway station is Giardini Naxos, only 5 minutes away from the hotel.

The 23 rooms of the hotel Metropole Maison d’Hôtes include different types of rooms and luxurious suites: 8 Suites with separate rooms, 7 Junior Suites, 8 rooms able to accommodate up to 3 people, 1 room for four people. There are no rooms with connecting door. The majority of the rooms and suites overlook the sea and have access to the pool enjoying a wonderful panoramic view over the famous Naxos Bay. The style of the rooms reflects the architectonic tradition of this marvelous Country, a tradition that successfully blends with modern furniture and comforts such as LCD TV with satellite channels and high speed internet access. Beach
Metropole Hotel is about 10 minutes drive away from the beach. For the guests comfort the hotel offers a complimentary shuttle service from/to the beach. The beach houses a “Lido” equipped with sun umbrellas, sun beds and beach bar (to be paid on spot).

For a holiday dedicated to relaxation and well-being, the Metropole Maison d'Hôtes offers a SPA built in the most ancient part of the building in XIV century, characterized by a charming architecture, and includes a hammam, a hydro massage pool and "posari" for different massages and mud treatments. 

Restaurant
The elegant and refined Metropole Lounge Bar NeoBistrot offers the most sought after dishes of the Sicilian cuisine. It is located on the beautiful terrace overlooking the sea, from where you can enjoy a unique view on the entire bay of Naxos and on the famous Greek Theatre (Teatro Greco), accompanied by Jazz notes of great artists. The restaurant-pool-bar offers instead a casual atmosphere with small and light menus, created exclusively with seasonal products of the territory.

The Metropole Hotel is a good starting point to visit the main streets of the town, the squares and the monuments such as the Clock Tower, the Cathedral, the Church of Saint Pancras and the Church of the Capuchins. At a few minutes walk there is the cableway that leads to Taormina Mare and the beaches of the Ionian Sicily.
