Sikania Resort and Spa ****

Location 

The southern coast of Sicily is home to the Sikania Resort & Spa, situated in a nature reserve, set between the hills and hinterland, home to woods and pastures, and the golden dunes of Tenutella. 

Hotel

The Sikania Resort & Spa is a fine structure in Sicilian style, set between the hills of Marina di Butera into which it blends with its earth colours. The Hotel offers large, comfortable rooms with all mod cons for a relaxing family holiday: a large pool with solarium (separate children's pool), a wellness centre, two restaurants, a pizzeria, two bars, a meeting hall, newspaper stand and tobacconist’s. 

Rooms

The 218 rooms of Sikania Resort are comfortable but simple in style, targeting a quiet comfortable vacation. All rooms have AC, plasma TV, fridge bar, phone, safe and en-suite bathroom with hairdryer and courtesy toiletries. Communicating rooms are available if requested. 

Beach

The spectacular private beach is just 200 m from the hotel: guests will find an equipped area on the fine sandy beach of Tenutella, in the Marina di Butera (1 beach umbrella and 2 sun loungers per room from the third row, according to availability. Deposit of € 20,00 per person for the beach towel plus € 2,50 for each change.

Wellness Centre

Spread over 300 sq.m. the hotel’s wellness centre makes available to guests: two hydromassage tubs, one interior and the other on the terrace with sea view, a wellness route, sauna, Turkish bath, aromatherapy and colour therapy showers, a relaxation area serving a series of herbal teas, 4 single or dual massage cabins and beauty treatment cabin.

Qualified personnel of the Rosa dei Venti Spa is on hand to accompany guests along their chosen pathway of personal regeneration, dotted with pleasing interludes of relaxation. 

Restaurant

The Hotel offers three restaurants:
Restaurant Scirocco, with internal hall and outdoor gazebo, with buffet service. Nursery corner for babies'meals. Special food for celiac patients (please inform us at the time of booking).
Restaurant Sottovento, set directly on the beach offers a rich menu based on Sicily’s traditional cuisine. Guests can enjoy a pizza in the Pizzeria, which is just a stone’s throw from the beach. 

Services & Activities

The service card (mandatory from 3 years old to be paid on site: € 7,00 per adult per day, € 5,00 per day for children from 3 to 11 years old) includes: access to the pools, covered play area for the kids, entertainment for adults and kids, beach service with one beach umbrella and two beach loungers per room (subject to availability) access to sports areas with use of two tennis courts, 1 5-a-side pitch, 1 mixed pitch, and beach tennis.

A Baby Kit must be paid for children aged 0 to 2,99 years, while their stay in the Resort is free.

The cost of the Baby Kit is €20 per day per child, payable locally, and includes the following services: cot or safety rail; baby bath; bottle warmer in the room; high chair; colourful table mats with cutlery; pushchair available; a small gadget for the youngest guests; TV with children's channels; laundry service for children (max. 1kg per day, per child); access to the Room with Baby facilities, in accordance with Covid prevention procedures (equipped with fresh milk, baby food, three different types of pasta and meat, fish and vegetable broth). Admission at set times.

Pet Plus Package
On request and subject to availability, at a rate of €15.00 per day + €40.00 for final cleaning, includes

Accommodation in room with balcony or patio.
Kit with hygienic bags, absorbent sleeper, small bowl and bone.
Reserved areas and dedicated routes (excluding pool area, restaurant, SPA).
Reserved pet-friendly outdoor area.

*Small dogs are allowed, maximum 10 kg. Dogs may only circulate in the village on a leash. Dog food is not provided. The number of places is limited and no other animals or dogs weighing more than 10 kg are allowed.

Windsurf/kitesurf/minigolf lessons can be booked and are at an additional cost. 

Under the care of our expert dedicated staff, entertainment services include a rich programme by day and evening, with competitions, cabaret, sports and shows at the amphitheatre.

Activities for children are divided by age bracket: Tarta Club 3/12 and Junior Club 12/17.
