Villa Bellasia

A charming villa dating back to 1830, Villa Bellasia became famous in the early 1960s and was much loved and frequented by Hollywood icon Greta Garbo. It is located in a charming seafront position in Letojanni, just 15 minutes’ drive from Taormina.

Surrounded by a large garden with direct access to a pebble beach, Villa Bellasia offers numerous areas in which to relax in the shade and breathe the scent of the sea.

The garden’s main feature is a raised terrace, which houses a swimming pool measuring 10x5 m surrounded by comfortable loungers, a seven-person Jacuzzi tub, an outdoor kitchen with barbecue area and a comfortable outdoor dining area.

Villa Bellasia can accommodate a total of 16 people, divided into the Main Villa (3 rooms - 8 guests), the Guest House (3 rooms - 6 guests) and the Suite (2 guests).

The property can only be rented in its entirety in the high season, while in the low season it can be rented in the following arrangements: only the Main Villa; the Main Villa + 2 rooms in the Guest House; the Main Villa + the Guest House + the Suite. Even in case of partial rent, it is guaranteed that there will be no other guests in the property.

The Main Villa has on the ground floor a living room with a fireplace, a small but well-equipped kitchen and a dining room with two tables. On the mezzanine floor there is a small living room, offering quiet and privacy, while the first floor houses the sleeping area. Here there are two double bedrooms, one with sea view and the other with garden view, both with en-suite with shower.

Also on the first floor, but accessible from an external staircase, there are two more bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with twin beds, with one shared bathroom.

The Guest House, detached from the Main Villa, is located on a raised floor with respect to sea level. It has a small entrance with a table from which you can access the three bedrooms, one with en-suite. The others share a second bathroom.

The Suite is located on the ground floor of the Guest House and has independent access. It has an open floor plan, with a kitchenette, a living area, a double bed, plus a bathroom with shower.

The villa also has a washing machine, dishwasher, fireplace, iron and ironing board and TV. The kitchen is equipped with kettle, toaster, mixer, oven, microwave and coffee maker.

The Villa does not guarantee total privacy, as there are some external properties overlooking the gardens.

The pool is open from the end of March to the end of October (dates to be defined).
